No deli!!! It’s the only bjs I’ve even been to that doesn’t have a deli! The first time I came in I looked for the deli for a while, it was just so hard to believe!! The gas station and parking lot are also oddly set up. Otherwise it’s a nice BJ’s.

Auburn, ME store. I don’t know if it’s company policy to only have one cashier working, but any and every store should have at least 2 Cashiers working during shopping hours at all times. Tonight there was one cashier looking after 6 Registers. No one at the customer service desk. Multiple checkout stands with flashing lights. Had to wait almost five minutes while the one cashier handled one person, by the time she got to us three checkout stands needed help. The reason we needed help? The machine we were using didn’t have the right weight input for one of the items that was scanned, so it thought there was an extra item on the table. Even though we asked the cashier if there was someone else that could help while we waited, she did not call for someone else or the manager until she couldn’t figure out the problem and we insisted she call the manager. The manager came and at first was apologetic, but when we complained he tried first to blame the one cashier for not calling him even though he knew he only had one cashier and no one at the customer service desk, then he defended only having one cashier to attend 6 Registers with no back up. He also defended the policy of having only

Will not be back self check outs only. Asked for help and she looked at me like I had three eyes. I dont use self check outs ever. I don't want another job, and the they need to check to make sure I did a job they should be doing in the first place, instead of me waste my time checking my receipts and seeing if it matches the items my cart. They make the BEST custom cakes! The cakes they make are the trademark of the parties I have for my family, work, and friends! I recommend to try the 1/4 sheet cake - marble with chocolate mousse and whipped topping! This is my go to store for all my dessert needs! 10/10!
